This Sunday, May 31, 2:00-3:30pm “The History of Hob Moor” Elizabeth Smith, author of Hob Moor: Historic Stray And Nature Reserve, will lead a walk on the Moor and talk about Hob Moor’s past. Meet at the Hob Stone on Little Hob Moor. The walk is free and open to the public.
Sunday, June 21, 6pm onwards “Summer Solstice Celebration” Celebrate the Solstice with music, story telling and shared food and drink. Gather at the bench by the railway tunnel on the south side of the Moor. The celebration is free and open to the public.
Saturday, July 25, 1:30-3:30 “Butterfly Walk with Tony Fairburn” Hope for a still, dry and sunny day to see the butterflies which live on the Moor. Meet at the Hob Moor Drive entrance to the Moor. The walk is free and open to the public.
