We have a message from the stockman saying he has walked the perimeter of Hob Moor to check for gaps. He is hoping to bring the cattle to the moor by the end of the month. Typically, the cattle are confined to North Lane Field to get them acclimated.
This ancient medieval right of cattle grazing on Hob Moor continues. The cattle may be a bit frisky initially. We ask that you just be respectful of their space and keep an eye that dogs keep their distance too. Thank you.
